Thunderbird Soldiers Hit the Open Road

More than 75 Soldiers from the 1345th Transportation Company, Oklahoma Army National Guard, conducted a cross-country convoy as part of Operation Patriot Bandoleer. Oklahoma’s mission, named Operation Rolling Thunder, required convoys to transport ammunition from the Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point, North Carolina, to Tooele Army Depot in Tooele, Utah. The mission took the Soldiers through 16 states during their annual training period.
